How to Load Gravimetry Data?

Loading gravimetry data in Discngine Qualification

Based on the number of well plates involved in the qualification (previously defined), a dynamic table is generated. It will allow you to enter your gravimetry data and obtain associated statistics such as:

  • Measured volume average (μL),

  • Measured bias volume average (μL),

  • Volume relative bias average (%).

There are three ways to load gravimetry data in the application:

  1. Upload a datafile (exported from a scale)

  2. Copy and paste the datafile content

  3. Enter manually if there is no existing datafile, by writing directly in the “Data” field.

The table contains two columns named control layout and volume layout; these must be filled in before moving forward. Generally, they are set by default when creating the qualification; nevertheless, they can be changed or specified at this step.

  1. The control layout defines the solvent configuration within a given plate and will indicate which wells contain solvent and which ones are empty.

  2. The volume layout specifies the target volumes contained on a given plate. The table field has a default value that need to be adjusted according to the relevant volume layout.

Finally, the acceptance threshold for gravimetry statistics can be defined when clicking on the green button in the top right corner. Based on the defined thresholds, the application will indicate the quality and relevance of the gravimetry data.
